I was accepted as a creative writer and I was extremely excited to learn the news. Mainly because I love to write and I love to express myself in a safe space. Writing has always been that safe space for me and so has reading novels etc. My passion in life is to be a journalist and be a successful person that I know my family and even myself can be proud of
Taniya Young
I’m 16 years old & an aspiring film director. My role in JOC is creative writer. I’ve been writing since the age of 7 and have realized a whole lot about myself artistically since then... for example, how far my imagination goes. I love writing and creating characters that show what it is like being a teen in the world today. I’m very passionate about wanting to be around many writers like myself. I have always felt different because I didn’t have teachers that taught me that I can have writing as a profession and I barely have any friends that take writing as seriously as I do, so to be in a community that does that and hopefully being able to help others younger than me is a really exciting opportunity for me!
Kevin Roman
I am a photographer that likes psychology. I was accepted as a photographer and I’m pleased to be part of this team to do what I love. I also like acting and trying new things and this group does just that!
